Thoughtful, collaborative psychotherapy in the San Francisco Bay Area and Online
Helping individuals and relationships navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and complex relational dynamics.
People often reach out when something in life no longer feels manageable alone — a difficult relationship, persistent anxiety, grief, burnout, or a sense of being stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and begin to respond in new ways.
At San Francisco Counseling Collective, we see therapy as a collaborative process. Our role is not to “fix” you, but to work alongside you — helping you better understand your experiences, develop new perspectives, and move toward meaningful change.
“When a person realizes they have been deeply heard, their eyes moisten. I think in some real sense they are weeping for joy. It is as though they were saying, ‘Thank God, somebody heard me. Someone knows what it’s like to be me’”
Our therapists work from an integrative perspective grounded in person-centered therapy. We draw from a range of approaches — including cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, narrative, and existential traditions — depending on what is most helpful for each client. Because no two people are the same, therapy is always tailored to your particular goals and needs.
We offer in-person psychotherapy in San Francisco and telehealth services for clients across many U.S. states and internationally.
If you’re considering therapy, we invite you to reach out for a free 20-minute consultation. We’re happy to answer questions and help you determine whether our practice may be a good fit.
