About George …
Hi there! I'm George; I'm an MSW graduate from UC Berkeley with a background in clinical mental health, environmental science, education, horticulture, and non-profit management. I care about supporting individuals, relationship units and family systems to thrive within their environments. As a social worker, I take a holistic approach to therapy and want to understand the complex factors that shape my clients' lives. By considering the unique “ecosystem” that we each exist in, my intention is to facilitate coping, healing, and personal growth. My ultimate goal is to accompany my clients on a path toward empowerment and increased agency in their lives.
I always strive to hold a strengths-based, social justice focus, and am dedicated to collaborating with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+, non-monogamous, sex positive, and gender expansive communities. I am committed to breaking down barriers for marginalized individuals, so cultural humility and harm reduction inform all my relationships with my clients.
